Afghanistan, Iraq, South Korea
No, not going to rant about why we have military in those 3 countries of Afghanistan, Iraq and South Korea. Not ranting about how we got into those 3 countries, how good or bad we are doing, how the people in those countries feel about our military being there, or whether the president should do anything like add more troops.
Nope, just going to say this loudly. Our president, Barack Obama, can get lots of supporters (among those he lost and those he never had) by doing one simple freaking thing: PICK A DATE WITHIN 6 MONTHS FROM NOW TO PULL BACK ALL OUR FORCES AND LEAVE THOSE 3 COUNTRIES!! Screw the military, screw the conservatives and the veterans, screw anybody who does not want our military out of those 3 countries.
Just do it quick President Obama!

Called the dad (my dad, going to be 90 years old this November!) who lives in Maine. He is doing good, just being his normal stubborn self. Trying to convince him of a few things, not just me but doctors, nurses, etc. One is that he should quit driving! Damn, he can scare a lot of people just by getting behind the wheel. But he won’t, not unless the state of Maine takes his license away. Sister did contact state, but they will not do a thing until he has broken any exisiting road laws. Dumb state!
Anyways, he has been having dizzy spells off and on. Waiting on results right now from his checkup yesterday.
We are as usual doing just about the same things every day. This morning, went to the grocery store. Stocked up for the next 2 weeks or so. Or until wife says we need more of something.
Weather has been cooperating still. Like yesterday, sun is shining and breezes are hard to come by. So it does tend to get warm in the afternoon, but not hot enough (for me anyways, wife different story) to turn on a/c’s. Wife threatened yesterday, but did not follow through. Today is a different story, do think she may turn them on soon. Friday, Saturday and Sunday are predicted to bring us thunderstorms. We do need some relief, as not a drop of rain in almost 2 weeks here. That means I have had to water the gardens twice so far, and may do so again tomorro evening. Just to be prepared if we do not get enough rain over the weekend.
Been slowly selling off my directories. At present have only 3 directories left. One directory I will keep is my general bidding directory. After I sell off the next 2 directories, then I will start selling off about 4 or 5 sites of mine. I want to get down to just my blogs.
