I don’t know, tell you about yesterday, today and tomorrow first? Or a rant? Hate decisions with a passion. So a joke first:
A farmer finally decided to buy a TV. The store assured him that they would install the antenna and TV the next day.
The next evening the farmer turned on his new TV and found only political ads on every channel. The next morning he turned the TV on and found only political ads again. When he came in to eat lunch he tried the
TV again but STILL only found political ads. The next day when he still found only political ads he called the store to complain.
The owner said that it was impossible for every channel to only have political ads, but agreed to send their repairman to check the TV.
When the TV repairman turned on the TV he found that the farmer was right! After looking at the TV for a while, he went outside to check the antenna. In a few minutes he returned and told the farmer he had found the problem.
The antenna had been installed on top of the windmill and the ground rod was in the manure pile.(hope you did not crack a rib over that joke!)
Yesterday morning went up to Des Moines. Weekly trip to see Aunt Louise. She was in good spirits and in fine fettle (I have been waiting for ages to use that word!). Wife again did Aunt Louise’s hair, and got her looking great to gorgeous. I said gorgeous, Aunt Louise said great. During that procedure my wife told Aunt Louise of her trip to Chicago and seeing the Cubs. But it was not until her daughter showed up with the laptop that Aunt Louise was really happy about that trip. Put it on facebook so she could view all the pictures and the videos. Aunt Louise was smiling, but I have the feeling the one picture that really made her happy was the picture of the main entrance to Wrigley Field, as she saw it and said “oh my” with reverence. Of course the wife disagrees with me, but then she rarely agrees with me.
We stopped next at Aldi to get more groceries. Place was crowded, very crowded. And yes, got more stuff that my wife said we could not live without. Then a stop at QT to get the van filled up with gas. Hey, gas had dropped 3 cents a gallon between the time of us getting to Des Moines and then stopping in. Inside, they were giving away free sandwiches! Plus coupons for $1.00 off next purchase of a sandwich. I have to say, for convenience store sandwiches they make the best as they make the sandwiches themselves and not rely on some company. The best sandwich is their Italian Sub. Loaded with ham and pepperoni. I mean a nice thick layer of each, with peppers and more. So we got lunch just for the price of drinks (49 cents for a 32 ounce drink all summer). The sandwiches were so big that my wife could not finish hers and I got to have extra.
Tomorrow we are going to make a quicky trip south into Missouri. Only to Eagleville. Got to load up for about 3 weeks.
Well, our president sure is screwing us (America) with his latest appointment. Bad enough he appoints czars like they were candy, but to appoint the new head of Medicare while Congress is off is just the complete opposite of what he said he would do when he got elected.
White House respect for the public’s health-care views dropped another notch yesterday, if that’s possible, with its recess appointment of Donald Berwick. Circumventing Senate confirmation to appoint the new Medicare chief is part of the same political willfulness that inflicted ObamaCare on the country despite the objections of most voters.

Then we have the president and his attorney general, Eric Holder, are yet again showing their bias and their hatred of the people of the USA!
Some Democrats, even in Arizona, are fearing an election backlash over immigration, as President Obama
sues Arizona over its new immigration enforcement law and pushes Congress to pass a comprehensive immigration overhaul.“My concern is that the federal government is suing the state of Arizona, ironically, over the ability to enforce immigration laws — where if the federal government had been doing its job over the years, we wouldn’t be in this situation in the first place,” Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, D-Ariz., said.
Arizona Attorney General Terry Goddard, the Democratic nominee for governor, urged the Obama administration to back off Arizona’s new law, which allows state and local authorities to ask people for immigration documents during unrelated enforcement encounters – such as traffic stops.
The president appears to be out of step with public opinion on immigration. The latest Fox News Opinion Dynamics poll shows 2-to-1 support nationwide for Arizona’s law, including 73 percent of Republicans, 57 percent of independents and one out of three Democrats.
