Nope, no solar power being created today in Iowa. No sun, just clouds and lots of rain. Kind of hard to create any power from the sun when conditions are like this. I just thought of this when I was outside and noticed one of the neighbors has solar panels on his roof. Bet his payback will be longer than he was told or believes…hahahahhaha.

Now windpower? Am sure all those big wind turbines are whirring away in the breeze. Rain aint gonna stop those. And I do believe the government should really step in and force electric companies to use a hell of a lot more wind power than they are using now.

The wife and her daughter went to Indianola earlier. Do some serious shopping knowing those two! Me, I just foot the bills. And sure they will stick around and have lunch while out, leaving me to forage about in the kitchen.

Tomorrow we are off to Des Moines. Got to visit Aunt Louise, wife will of course do her hair and bring her some goodies to eat. Then of course, wife will want to go to Aldi’s to get a few items (she always says just a few items and we end up with an overloaded cart!). Beyond that, I will just have to find out where else we will be going while there when she tells me tomorrow.
