Yesterday I opened up Directory of Twitters. Everyone who is on twitter should submit their twitter profile url as it is free. This directory will soon be a great place where people can find twitters to follow (and they can’t follow you if you are not in the directory!). While it is free to submit and have your twitter profile url in the directory, to have a featured listing of your twitter profile url is even better as it is shown above all the free ones. Yes, it does cost to have a featured listing, but it is a cheap price to pay to get shown ahead of all free listings. Then reply to @iowadawg that your listing is in the directory, with your twitter profile url. I will upgrade you to a featured listing. Just how easy is that?

This morning we went to Des Moines to visit our Aunt Louise. She is 97 years young today! Yes, she was born the day after the Titanic sunk in 1912. She lived through World War One, and all the wars after. Plus of course the great depression. And let me tell you, the stories she tells of everything is amazing. From the time she was a little girl to going to college to be a teacher. How it was for a single girl to be out and working on her own. Plus all the family history and where everyone is placed.

She was quite happy to see us, we even sang happy birthday to her. Then out came the goodies we brought for her. Two big tubs of home made ice cream which she loves to have and told us to bring more every time we come this summer. Plus enough monster cookies to keep her in desserts and snacks for 2 weeks, at least depending on how piggish she gets (her words by the way). It was great to see her again and to see her in such a cheery and zippy mood. I would be very thankful to live as long as she has and still be in my right mind!

Ah, today was one of those super great days here in Iowa. With the sun shining, little breeze, it was great to be outside.

Wife made some more monster cookies today plus homemade ice cream. All for our Aunt Louise, who will be 97 tomorrow. Going to see her in the morning, so she will be happy to get more monster cookies and to finally have homemade ice cream after months without.

Yesterday I was at a site selling websites. What was unusual were that all the websites for sale were in niches like cities, states, countries, etc. And every single domain name had the same start: Directoryofxxxx.com. And they all had a directory on them and ready to go for a new owner. But not cheap! No, each domain went for $2500.00 to $5000.00! So I went hunting and found this nice domain available, so I registered it at once: DirectoryofTwitters.com.

Today, developed that domain into a directory (natch!) just for twitters. That’s right, only twitters can submit and be in this new directory of mine. Only twitter profile pages are allowed on this new directory. Now if you are on twitter, there is now a directory where you can be listed, free no less, in the appropriate category for your profile. Do go by the new directory and submit your twitter url soon at Directory of Twitters.
