Yesterday watched some great college football! First was of course the game we had to watch at all costs, the Iowa Hawkeyes versus Penn State. Man, there was a game! Had us screaming (trust me, you do not want to be in the same room as my wife and I when we are screaming) and on the edge of our seats. But at the last few seconds, the Hawkeyes pulled it out with a field goal! Talk about some relief when that ball went through the uprights.

The other games, well kind of expected Texas to win against Baylor and had the same expectations for the Oklahoma Sooners to beat Texas A&M. But darn, I was rooting big time for Oklahoma State to take down Texas Tech! Got to admit, TT is awesome this year! Just had to check the AP poll for this week, just came out today. Alabama is number one, followed by Texas Tech, Florida, Texas then Oklahoma. Now to wait for the BCS standings. Oh, just to give Dave Letterman something to talk about all this week, his college is still number 16 in the standings, good old Ball State.

Today is watching pro football. See the Jets are whomping on the Rams. Suprise there for sure! And the game I am watching because it has to be the best matchup today, the Chicago Bears and the Tennessee Titans. Right now into the third quarter, Titans up 14-7. But the Bears are moving down the field now. Myself I am rooting for the Bears!

Yesterday, being a nice husband (who is known by my wife as that GOP guy) I ordered an Obama dollar and half dollar for my wife. I am a member of several forums and I enjoy them all. Even digital point forums, as I do okay there selling. But one forum is now on my shit list for all time and I tell everyone to avoid those ignorant buttholes at all costs. Yes, that is the webtalkforums. If you are not part of the clique there by engaging in sex talk and kissing the asses of the mods and owner there, you are not welcomed by those people! One mod there is an pure asshole, and that is the idiot that posts pictures all the time and makes stupid posts that are just little symbols and crap. There he is allowed to call members nasty names with no fear of retaliation from members. Just avoid that forum. Enough said by me, as I just brought this up because I got an email from a member there (also a mod) wanting to know what happened to me getting banned by the buttholes.

We are gearing up for the big football game. The Iowa Hawkeyes are in Pittsburgh to play (and beat) Pittsburgh today. Going to be televised so now you know where the wife and I will be. Starting in fact a a few more minutes. Hawkeyes in general look good so far this year, and they have won their first 3 games. We want to see them get back into the top 25 and gain more national recognition.

Well, our grandson has a new pet as of this morning. A baby snapping turtle! Wonder how long his mother will allow him to have it before telling him to release back where he found it.

Last night I was on ebay, checking out the coins and collectibles category for silver state quarters. I really should not have been there! Started bidding on several auctions for slabbed silver state quarters and won too many! Now have on the way some great PR70 graded silver quarters for Hawaii, Oklahoma, Texas and Utah, plus several other PR70 slabbed coins I saw that I liked.
