Today is the Anniversary
The assassination of John F. Kennedy, the thirty-fifth President of the United States, took place on Friday, November 22, 1963, in Dallas, Texas, USA at 12:30 p.m. CST (18:30 UTC). John F. Kennedy was fatally wounded by gunshots while riding with his wife Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy in a Presidential motorcade.
I was in high school at the time. We were in history class and watching this on television, so we saw it live. It was a shocker for everyone in our class, and as the news spread throughout the school, it got very unhappy. I don’t remember if I cried along with everyone else (sure I did).

Tonight is the last regular season game for the Iowa Hawkeyes. They are playing Minnesota. We are hoping that the Hawkeyes win their 8th game tonight. And get a bowl bid!
Plus tonight, the Oklahoma Sooners take on the Texax Tech Raiders at Norman, Okla. I will be rooting heavily for the Sooners!
Predicted snow today, but looking at the radar, the moisture that was going to produce this snow dissapated before it got to us. And see no snow in the next 5 days. We really do not want it to snow at all next Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, either in Iowa here or down in Missouri as we will be going to our son and his family for Thanksgiving.
